PCCC Athletics Suspended for 2020 - 2021 Season

Kindly note that Passaic County Community College has suspended all intercollegiate athletic programs for the 2020-2021 academic year as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
The decision to suspend intercollegiate athletics was made to safeguard the health and well being of PCCC student-athletes and of the campus community as a whole. Suspension of PCCC athletics includes workouts, practices, scrimmages, games and other related campus activity as a precaution. All campus facilities with respect to athletic activity have been shut down as well.
Both the College and athletics department will continue to support all returning and incoming student athletes in achieving their academic and athletic endeavors. We are also committed towards helping student-athletes identify and make use of the variety of college services provided while off campus.
While the majority of semester classes will be conducted remotely or online, academic and student support services are available to all student-athletes. In-Person assistance for student-athletes will resume once the College is allowed to fully re-open.
Look forward to the return of PCCC Athletics back on campus with plans to sponsor women’s and men’s; volleyball, cross-country, and basketball during the 2021 - 2022 season.
The Athletics Department is also planning an E-Sports Program to support student interest while taking online semester classes due to the COVID pandemic. Proposed E-Sport games are centered on the virtual theme of athletics and offer an opportunity for students to engage in recreational league play during the school year (see below).
NBA 2K (Basketball)
FIFA (Soccer)
Madden NFL (Football)
Feel free to contact if interested in signing-up for E-Sports or inquire about additional information regarding PCCC Athletics.
Due to Covid-19, the PCCC
gymnasium, fitness center, and game room
will remain closed until further notice.
