WORKSHOP TITLE: Make the Most of Your College Education

DESCRIPTION: This one-hour workshop focuses on informing students about the value of a liberal arts education, and demonstrates the connection between education and their individual life/career goals. Students will learn how they can utilize available resources to succeed in college.

GOALS: The goal of the workshop is to have students understand that a college education is more than earning a diploma.


STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES:
1. Students will learn to empower themselves by being resourceful and responsible.
2. Students will be able to identify career options and organizations that employ liberal arts graduates.
3. Students will be able to apply Stephen Covey’s 4 Quadrants in time management and goals setting.
4. Students will be able to list three (3) resources available to assist them in career planning and life management.
