WORKSHOP TITLE: How to Chose a Major That’s Right for You

DESCRIPTION: Students will learn about the steps they can take to help them choose a career /major that is right for them. The workshop will cover self-assessment, career identification, and career exploration.

GOALS: The goal of this workshop is for students to gain insight into the different majors they are interested in, as well as some of the potential careers that can be obtained in that major field of study.

1. Students will learn self assessment skills and be able to identify a major/career they are interested in.
2. Students will be able to identify careers within their college major.
3. Students will be able to explore and research career fields to get in-depth descriptions and broaden their understanding of the numerous career options within a given major.
