Explanation of fees

Special note: Tuition and fees are subject to change without prior notice. Tuition and general fees do not include course/materials fees assessed for certain courses. A per course fee with clinical, laboratory, computer or other appropriate non-replaceable materials including energy uses may be charged for certain courses. Please see the College Tuition and Fee Schedule.

Miscellaneous Fee Summary

General College Fee
A $15.50 fee per credit hour is used to support the College’s academic programs and fees associated with processing student registrations.

Student Activity Fee

A $2.20 fee per credit hour is charged to all students to provide funds for student cultural and social programs.

Athletic Fee
A $1.95 fee per credit hour enables the college maintain and allow use of all athletic facitities.

Technology Fee
A $5.50 fee per credit hour enables the college to add and replace computers, software, library equipment, and other items for student use.

Course/Materials Fees
Several college courses require additional fees to pay for laboratory hours and/or additional materials required for the course. All lab/materials fees are listed with courses in the Course Schedule. A maximum of $395 (excluding Nursing and Radiography) in course fees may be charged per semester.

Returned Check Fee
Any check returned to the college by the bank on which it is drawn, for any reason, will incur a $50.00 processing fee and in the future, the student's privilege of writing personal checks to the college may be revoked. Post-dated checks are not accepted by the college, and if returned by the bank, are subject to the returned check fee.

Identification Card Fee
Each student is issued a free ID card at the time of registration. There is a $10.00 fee for replacing a lost or mutilated card.
