The Enrollment Process for New Students

New students are those who have
never attended PCCC before.
  

  1. Complete Your ApplicationOnline
     
    We recommend that you complete the application online, but if you prefer to complete a paper application, if you have questions and would like to speak with an Admissions Counselor, please contact us at admissions@pccc.edu or (973)684-6305.

  2. Determine how you will pay your tuition. PCCC offers a variety of payment options. If you plan to use Financial Aid to pay your tuition you must file your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) prior to registering for classes. You can apply online by going to www.fafsa.ed.gov. PCCC also offers a payment plan and scholarships programs. For more information on PCCC’s tuition and payment options go to www.pccc.edu/bursar.
  3. Transcript. Have an official copy of your HS transcript sent to the Admissions Office.
  4. Immunization Requirement: There are immunizations required for all Full-Time NJ College Students.  To learn more about the requirements and complete the immunization form, click here. All questions, including those related to exemptions, can be directed to the Office of Student Affairs at immunizations@pccc.edu or 973-684-6309.
  5. Make an appointment for a Placement Test: Some students may be exempt from taking the placement test by providing SAT scores to the Admissions for review. New students cannot register without taking the placement test. Click here to get more information on the placement test.

    If you have applied to the College and have your PCCC ID number you can click here to schedule your placement test online.
  6. Meet with an academic advisor and select your classes. You can meet with an advisor and register at the Center for Student Success on the Main Campus in Paterson or at the Wanaque or Passaic Academic Center.
