The Enrollment Process for New Students

New students are those who have
never attended PCCC before.

  1. Complete Your Application – You may apply online or download an application to be completed and returned to PCCC. 
    We recommend that you apply online, but if you prefer to complete a paper application, it can be mailed or submitted in person to the PCCC Admissions Office or the Main Office at the Wanaque Academic Center or Passaic Academic Center.

  2. Determine how you will pay your tuition. PCCC offers a variety of payment options. If you plan to use Financial Aid to pay your tuition you must file your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) prior to registering for classes.   3. Transcript. Have an official copy of your HS transcript sent to the Admissions Office.
  4. Immunization Requirement: NJ state law requires that all first-time, full-time students born after 1957 show a valid record of immunization that includes two doses of measles-containing vaccine and one dose of mumps and rubella.
  5. Make an appointment for a Placement Test: Some students may be exempt from taking the placement test by providing SAT scores to the Admissions for review. New students cannot register without taking the placement test. For more information on the placement test, click here.

  6. Meet with an academic advisor and select your classes. You can meet with an advisor and register at the Center for Student Success on the Main Campus in Paterson or at the Wanaque or Passaic Academic Center.
