THE SENTENCE SKILLS SECTION
Two basic kinds of questions are given in this section of the test. Some ask you to choose a word or phrase to substitute for an underlined portion of a sentence. Others ask that a sentence be rewritten in a way that does not change the meaning.
SAMPLE SUBSTITUTION QUESTION
Select the best version of the underlined part of the sentence.
Choice A is the same as the original sentence. If you think the original sentence is best, choose answer A.
