DEGREE PROGRAMS

Associate in Applied Science Degree

The rigorous two-year Nurse Education Program leads to an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree and is accredited by the New Jersey Board of Nursing and the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.

The program includes both general education and nursing courses for those who have chosen careers as registered nurses. General education courses from the sciences and liberal arts enhance the students' understanding of clients. Graduates are prepared for practice in hospitals and health-care agencies within the framework of the American Nurses Association's Standards of Practice and the New Jersey Nurse Practice Act.
