The Passaic County Community College Nurse Education Program is over 30 years old and has graduated more than 1,000 students since its beginnings. Our graduates have gone on to hold nursing positions in hospitals such as St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, St. Barnabas Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital, Chilton Memorial Hospital, Mountainside Hospital and Newton Memorial Hospital.
Others chose work in long term care or specialty nursing facilities such as Preakness Healthcare Center and Greystone Psychiatric Hospital. Many of our graduates have earned advanced degrees and hold positions in nursing management and nursing education. Currently, there are more than 200 students registered at our two locations in Paterson (Passaic County) and in Newton (Sussex County). Our degree program offers options for day or evening students and mobility options for Licensed Practical Nurses.
The program admits students without regard to race, color, gender, sexual orientation, or national or ethnic origin.
