The Mathematics Department at Passaic County  Community College awards an Associate in Science (A.S) Degree in Liberal Arts with a Mathematics Option for students who plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in mathematics at a four-year university. 

 
Graduates should be able to:

• Apply the language of Mathematics to translate concepts.
• Use technology to evaluate mathematical theorems in an applicable way.
• Utilize mathematical theorems in an applicable way.
• Demonstrate competency in performing calculus and differential equations.
