Associate in Arts (A.A.) Degree - Liberal Arts Musical Studies Option
Program Overview
PCCC's Associate in Arts Degree in Liberal Arts: Musical Studies Option provides each student with a foundation for success in musical performance, music education, and music computer technology. Students will gain skills in music theory, piano skills, learn how to read and write music, and take part in performance workshops.
The program is suited either to students who want to transfer to a fouryear college or those who want to begin or continue an interest in music.
STUDENT PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Music Department Recital - In addition to classroom activities, students will have an opportunity to participate in PCCC's Music Department recital held at Trumpet's Jazz Club & Restaurant in Montclair, New Jersey.
Performing Arts Club – All students are welcome to join the Performing Arts Club where they can enjoy extended performing opportunities and collaborations with the theater and dance classes.

Ready to get started? It’s easy! Passaic County Community College has an open admissions policy, which means that if you have a high school diploma or GED you are eligible to enroll at PCCC. Just fill out an application, attend an orientation session, and then register for classes.
