Dr. Christine Redman-Waldeyer, creator of the Journalism Option Program teaches composition, journalism, and literature.  She advises for the student-run college newspaper, Visions and the Literary Panther.  She currently serves as co-chair to the “Peer Review Committee for Assessment” and is a member of the Student Development, Faculty Review, and Honors Program Committees.  Her interests include painting, poetry, and children’s literature.
Christine has three book collections of poetry and her poetry has been widely published in journals.  In 2014, Christine co-edited Writing After Retirement: Tips from Successful Retired Writers, Rowman & Littlefield Publishers with award winning writer and editor, Carol Smallwood.  She has been a contributing writer for numerous newspapers, newsletters including the WBGO Jazz Radio literacy for journalism project and Exceptional Parenting Magazine. Her publications on education have also been included in Innovations. Christine is the founder and editor of a women's literary journal, Adanna.
