Alexandra Della Fera


Alexandra Della Fera previously taught at both Essex County College and Bloomfield College, Prof. Della Fera brings to the department a strong background in developmental, compositional, and literature studies.  As the EN 101 Level Leader, Prof. Della Fera has been responsible for many successful changes and contributions to the curriculum, and as an Honors Program Committee member, she has organized various trips to expose students to the cultural offerings of the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area.

Prof. Della Fera has also been the recipient of the Women’s Recognition Award from PCCC’s  Student Government Association as well as the Presidential Recognition Award for her continuous efforts with the Dual Enrollment Program.    Prof. Della Fera continues to stay current in her field through attending and presenting at conferences and winning grants to further her studies.
