ABOUT THE ENGLISH DEPARTMENT
The English Department offers courses in writing, reading, critical thinking, and study skills as well as in literature, film, theater, public speaking, and journalism. The department also oversees numerous clubs, activities and contests including an annual public speaking competition, year-round theatrical productions, and the school newspaper, Visions.
Degree Program - The English Department at Passaic County Community Department offers the Associate in Arts (A.A.) Degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in English or Theater. A liberal arts degree provides students with a well-rounded educational background, facilitating transfer to a four-year college. (Click here for transfer information)
