Passaic County Community College currently offers two ESL Awards to students who meet specific criteria. The awards are presented at a formal ceremony each November. Students may apply for either award by filling out an application which is available at the ESL office, Room E209A. The two awards and their requirements are as follows:
ESL Award for Language Competency
- You must have taken classes at PCCC within the past 3 years.
- You must have completed the following courses:
- ESLW003, ESLR004, ESLG004
- ESLS002 or ESLS003
ESL Award for Program Completion
- You must have taken classes at PCCC within the past 3 years.
- You must have completed the following courses:
- ENW107, ENR107
- 6 non-ESL PCCC credits
