The Mathematics Department at Passaic County Community College awards an Associate in Science (A.S) Degree in Liberal Arts with a Mathematics Option for students who plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in mathematics at a four-year university.
Graduates should be able to:
- Use technology in analyzing and solving algebraic, trigonometric and calculus problems.
- Identify and apply theorems of calculus.
- Perform differentiation and integration on single variable, multivariable, polar, parametric, and vector valued functions.
- Analyze and solve problems involving infinite series and differential equations.
