Associate in Arts (A.A.) Degree – Liberal Arts

Early Childhood Education Option

This degree is for those who plan to pursue a B.A. degree in Elementary or Early Childhood Education at a four-year college. This degree program provides a well-rounded liberal arts education – for smooth transfer – with a focus on early childhood education. Graduates should be able to:

  • Communicate effectively in standard English and be proficient in math.
  • Use analytical and critical thinking skills to do research.
  • Understand the complex world of history and politics and be familiar with the basic concepts of social and natural science.
  • Gain aesthetic appreciation and maintain a lifelong interest in learning.
