Toni Taylor is the Director of Developmental English in the Developmental Studies Department. She has spent several years teaching developmental English students at Hudson County Community College, Bergen Community College, and Fairleigh Dickinson University. Toni also has experience teaching psychology and sociology related courses. She uses her expertise from both disciplines to strengthen the knowledge base of her students while teaching proper writing techniques.

Toni spent over ten years as a social worker in New York City before transitioning to higher education. She made the transition after receiving positive reviews and encouraging feedback while facilitating professional development workshops. She is also a contributing author to the textbook Gender Oppression and Globalization, published by the NASW in 2013.
