THE BUSINESS CLUB
The Business Club is open to both business and non-business students.
Members learn practical skills for success, such as creating business cards,
preparing for job interviews, or learning to do powerpoint presentations. The club also offers workshops about investment and organizes a yearly business trip. Recent trips include visits to the United Nations, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and the Museum of Television and Advertising.
Through these trips and other activities, club members explore the impact of business principles and activity in the world beyond the campus by organizing trips to the stock market and to other centers of finance and commerce.
Participating in community-related activities is another feature of club life. For instance, to commemorate Earth Day, members of the Business Club planted trees at locations throughout the City of Paterson (home of PCCC’s main campus. This activity gave members the opportunity to collaborate with public agencies and officials while also benefiting the community with environmental and esthetic improvements. Through work and fun, members of the Business Club come to experience both the spirit of independent enterprise and the rewards of collegial teamwork.
