Business Administration

The Business Administration Department offers programs that are designed for either transferability to many of the local four-year colleges and universities, or to secure employment upon graduation.

The programs are challenging, but rewarding upon successful completition. With a faculty committed to quality, promoting a caring and personal classroom environment, our goal is to provide a solid foundation for our graduates so they can be successful at the four-year institutions or in their selected place of employment.

The Business Program at PCCC is member of the New Jersey Collegiate Business Administration Association. The Association, founded in the 1980's, is designed to bring the Business Schools at the two-year community colleges and four-year colleges/universities in New Jersey together in a collaborative effort to bring new learning and thinking into the curricula and assist making the transition from the two-year community college to the four-year institution as smooth as possible.

The deans and department chairs of the business schools throughout our state have established, the New Jersey Collegiate Business Administration Association "Honor Society". The Honor Society recognizes the very highest scholastic achievements of undergraduate students who are studying business at two– and four-year colleges in NJ. While this is a statewide Honor Society, it is headquartered at the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University. Introduction into the Honor Society occurs in May of each year at the New Jersey State House in Trenton.
