Online Databases 

The Library offers access to several full-text online databases, where you may search the periodical literature of many subject areas. You may then read, download, print, or email relevant articles. To enter a database, click on its logo. Passwords are required for off-campus access.

Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe is recommended for finding news articles, and is also very useful for finding Business, Legal, Medical, and general Reference information.
EBSCOHost includes a variety of general and subject-specific databases. Follow the link to see descriptions of each database, then select as many or as few as you wish for your search.
GALE includes the following databases: Health Reference Center Academic, Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center, Health & Wellness Resource Center, Literature Resource Center, Contemporary Authors, Contemporary Literary Criticism Select, Dictionary of Literary Biography, and the Gale Virtual Reference Library.
CQ Researcher, a weekly periodical, is an excellent resource for current events and socio-political topics. Each issue covers one particular topic in depth.
  Facts on File includes the following databases: American History, U.S. Government, Modern World History, Ancient and Medieval History, Science, Health Reference Center, World Atlas, Bloom's Literary Reference, Today's Science, World News Digest, Issues & Controversies, and Issues & Controversies in American History.

Oxford Music Online includes the full text of The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians (2nd ed), as well as The New Grove Dictionary of Opera and The New Grove Dictionary of Jazz (2nd ed). Includes links to audio files.
Oxford Art Online provides access to the entire text of The Dictionary of Art, plus extensive image links and sophisticated search features.
