Financial Aid Officer

An energetic and personable professional is sought for the PCCC Financial Aid office.  This individual will assist current and prospective students in all phases of the financial aid process including, but not limited to presentations on financial aid, online applications, determining eligibility, authorizing awards, student loan programs.  Strong customer service skills are required to ensure that policies and procedures are communicated in a clear and sensitive manner. Some weekend and evening hours are required for this position, and candidates must be able to drive to community meetings and recruitment events.

 

A Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience in a college financial aid office is required.  Working knowledge of all State and Federal Financial Aid programs as well as computer literacy and ability to utilize an integrated student system (preferably Datatel) also required.  Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English).
