The Honors Program at Passaic County Community College held its first Recognition Ceremony on May 17, at the Hamilton Club on the Main Campus in Paterson.  Twenty-two graduating students in the Program received their recognition certificate and the blue and gold Honors Program stole to be worn at the May 23 Commencement ceremonies.

The Honors Program is an enriched learning program that provides more challenging and in-depth classes for high achieving students as well as special learning opportunities, outside of the classroom.

“We are so excited to be holding our first Recognition Ceremony and are very proud of all the Honors Program students who will be graduating this year, “ said Professor Martha Brozyna, the advisor to the Honors Program.  Professor Brozyna and Professor Alexandra Della Fera presented the awards in an intimate ceremony attended by family and friends.
