A LANGUAGE ARTS ENRICHMENT PARTNERSHIP

2017 PATERSON STUDENT POETRY CONTEST

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
We are eagerly awaiting your post office-mailed entries and we will notify you if you have won.  Next, the winning poems must be re-submitted via e-mail in order to be published in the anthology.  Printing technology makes this necessary.  No exceptions! Therefore each student should keep a copy of his/her poem because we cannot return any entries. (Please do not e-mail the initial entries.  They must be sent as hard copies with the signed permissions on the same page as the poem)

TOPICS: An Exciting Day or A Photograph or any other topic of your choice
STYLE: The poem may be written in any style, not to exceed two pages.
Please give specific details, using words to paint a picture of what you do, see, and feel.
FORMAT: Incorrect or incomplete entries will be REJECTED automatically.  We hate to do that, so please FOLLOW DIRECTIONS.  The volume of entries makes this necessary.
