Selection from The PCCC Contemporary Art Selection

The permanent collection of contemporary fine art at Passaic County Community College continues to expand. Paintings, photographs, sculptures and works on paper by regional, national and internationally known artists are represented in the collection, including important works by Jacob Landau, Ben Shahn and George Tice.
Some of the artworks were donated by artists who have previously exhibited in our galleries, other pieces were given by individuals, and a few were commissioned by the College and community groups.
The Passaic County Community College Contemporary Art Collection is usually housed at the Hamilton Club and Pruden buildings, except when temporarily rotated to other spaces at the College or on special loan to other institutions. Selections from the PCCC Contemporary Art Collection will be on view in the Broadway & LRC Galleries through the summer.
A more extensive catalog can be found on the website at . It features additional information about the artists and their work, and new images will be added as the collection continues to grow.
