In celebration of Hispanic Heritage, the Passaic County Cultural and Heritage Council at Passaic County Community College is pleased to present PASSAGES, an exhibition of photographs from the archives of the Inner City Ensemble (ICE).  The exhibit features images of the Paterson, New Jersey, non-profit youth performing arts group, which began in 1973.  The show is on view in the Broadway Gallery at Passaic County Community College from October 19, 2013 through January 9, 2014.   A reception will be held in the Broadway Gallery on Thursday, November 14, 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.  Admission to the exhibit and reception is free and open to the public.
Passages spans several decades and includes photographs of the newly re-established ICE youth group.  Nicholas Rodriguez, the company’s Artistic Director and the exhibit curator, has selected photos that demonstrate the scope of the organization’s performance and training history.  ICE, originally founded by Ralph Gomez, and re-established by alumni and former staff in 2010, is committed to bringing dance and theatre training to underserved, at-risk Paterson youth.

The Broadway Gallery is located at Passaic County Community College, Broadway at Memorial Drive in the downtown historic district of Paterson, New Jersey.   Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
