PCCHC Cultural Grant Awards

The Passaic County Cultural & Heritage Council (PCCHC) at Passaic County Community College is pleased to announce the 60 Passaic County organizations that were awarded grants for arts and history projects scheduled to take place in Passaic County during 2010. 

Fifty-two organizations received a total of $55,000 in funding for projects that bring the arts to our community through the Local Arts Program Grant, which is made possible by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts / Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.  Additionally, through a general operating support grant from the New Jersey Historical Commission, 12 county organizations received a total of $6,562 in re-grant funds for local or New Jersey history projects.

The following Passaic County Organizations were awarded arts grants ranging from $500 to $2,000 for a variety of programs including concerts, dance, theater, and art exhibits:

PCCHC grants are available to non-profit Passaic County organizations that have planned an art, cultural or history project to take place in Passaic County.  Grant workshops are held in at PCCC’s Paterson and Wayne campuses

Arts Grants operate on a calendar year basis (January 1 – December 31),
Grant applications are available in May. Grant workshops are held in June, and  deadline for application is late July.

History Grants
operate on a fiscal year (July 1 – June 30)  Applications are available in June.  Grant workshops take place in July, and applications are due in late August
