The role of the Institutional Advancement office is to mine for and attain grant funding in order to advance the mission of Passaic County Community College. We support the College's goal of providing “every opportunity to offer students both formal and informal experiences that foster learning, personal growth, and civic responsibility.” We strive to assist College faculty and staff in securing the resources that are necessary to continue to improve our dynamic student learning environment, develop innovative instruction, support academic and career initiatives, and afford the benefit of the most up-to-date technology. We help provide needed services in the community and valuable partnerships with local industry and organizations.
Institutional Advancement acts as a resource for academic and creative undertakings envisioned by PCCC personnel. Working with project directors, we help to identify potential sources of funding, develop programs and areas in need of funding, write and submit proposals, assist in the implementation of grant programs, budget management, and writing reports to funding agencies. We are fully committed to student success and the mission of the College.
