Michael Allora is a Deputy Fire Chief and 20- year veteran of the Clifton, NJ Fire Department. Prior to becoming the Fire Science Program Coordinator, he was an Adjunct Professor in the Fire Science Program since 2008. He is a graduate of the PCCC Fire Science Program. He has a Master of Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is a graduate of the International Association of Fire Chiefs’ Fire Service Executive Development Institute. He is also a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program (EFOP). In 2013, he was one of six EFOP students to receive a national Outstanding Research Award for his applied research.

Mr. Allora is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa international honor society, as well as PCCC’s chapter Alpha Eta Chi. He is a NJ State certified Fire Instructor II, National Fire Academy contract instructor, and Mental Health First Aid instructor for the National Council for Behavioral Health. He is also a member of numerous local and national professional and community organizations.
