Morning Ceremony Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Ceremony starts promptly at 11:00 a.m. for recipients of the: Associate in Applied Science Degree, Career Certificates, and Certificate of Achievement Evening Ceremony Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Ceremony starts promptly at 6:00 p.m. for recipients of the: Associate in Arts Degree, Associate in Science Degree Admission to Ceremony Only ticketholders (adults and children) will be admitted to the commencement ceremonies. Four tickets are given to each student graduating or being recognized. |
Guests will be seated in the bleachers in the Gymnasium, with overflow seating in the College Theater and lecture halls with A LIVE STREAM broadcast of the ceremony at www.pccc.edu In the event you require special accommodations, please contact the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs at studentaffairs@pccc.edu Parking – Free parking is provided for all graduates and guests at the Paterson Public Parking Garage located at 125 Broadway, across the street from the College. There is a pedestrian walkway that will bring you right into the College. Please leave ample time for parking. Mass transport – PCCC is accessible by mass transportation. The Paterson Train station is one block away and NJ Transit buses serve the immediate area. |

Video Cameras/Photography Video cameras are prohibited in the gymnasium during the ceremony. A professional photographer has been engaged to provide services at graduation. Each graduate will be photographed receiving his/her diploma. The photographer will contact the graduate directly about purchases. Live Video Broadcast For those who cannot attend, a LIVE broadcast will take place. Log-on to www.pccc.edu and click on the icon to watch the events unfold as they happen. |
Security Measures Due to increased security measures, no back packs, book bags, balloons or video cameras will be permitted on campus for the Commencement Ceremony. Security checks at all entrances will be engaged and you are asked to cooperate fully when you arrive. Your safety is our number one concern. Children at Commencement Children are welcome at the commencement ceremony; however, they cannot walk or be seated with the graduate in the ceremony. The College does not provide child care for the ceremonies. Commencement Reception All graduates and their guests are invited to a reception following the ceremony in the Cafeteria, Paterson Room, and Gallery of Academic Hall. |
