Admissions Process - Bound/GEAR-UP

SMT College Bound/GEAR-UP Program

Submit the following documents to the SMT College Bound/GEAR UP office at PCCC.

  1. Completed SMT College Bound/GEAR UP application (PDF).
  2. Letter of recommendation from Teacher or Guidance Counselor.
  3. Copy of your Social Security Card.
  4. Letter from your school stating whether or not you are eligible for the federal free/reduced lunch program.
  5. Copy of your latest grades.

Once all documents are received, PCCC will contact you for an interview with you and your parent/guardian.

Upward Bound Program

Submit the following documents to the Upward Bound office at PCCC.

  1. Completed Upward Bound application (PDF) with recommendation from Teacher or Guidance Counselor.
  2. Copy of your parent/guardian’s latest Federal 1040 form or a notarized copy indicating previous year’s income.
  3. Copy of your Social Security Card.
  4. Copy of your most recent grades.

 
Once all documents are received the parent or guardian will receive notification of the students’ eligibility to participate in the program.
